Balham Literary Festival

Balham Literary Festival returns with a spectacular line-up and discussions ranging from climate change to crime fiction, while celebrating some of the best talent South London has to offer. Events will take place at various venues including Balham Bowls Club and Balham Oxfam. Tickets £5-£30.

Camberwell Arts Festival, venues across Camberwell

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year the festival’s theme is The Art of the Party. The festival will launch with a Birthday Feast on Camberwell Green, with everything from the drinks to the décor and dancing designed by local artists.

The Made in Camberwell Arts Market, the Not for Sale Exhibition and the Camberwell Fringe programme will all feature.

Greenwich+Docklands International Festival

London’s leading festival of outdoor theatre and performing arts, returns to locations across Royal Greenwich, Royal Docks and Tower Hamlets this month. Opening day on Friday, June 21 will see Woolwich Town Centre filled with art, food, dance, street theatre and a spectacular finale.

Disco Odyssey returns to The Prince Of Wales Club and Roof Terrace this month, delivering the elite of Europe’s disco hedonists to the south London establishment. After dominating the South Coast nightlife, POW favourites Concrete Music will be kicking off the night with their take on disco, followed by The Reflex, which will take to the decks to breathe new life into soul, pop and disco classics.

Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light
