Pants on Fire Theatre Company returns to Greenwich Theatre

Pants on Fire Theatre Company return to Greenwich Theatre this year with their show Ovid’s Metamorphoses – a presentation of ancient myths as you have never seen them.

The show won the Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

It will play for one night on Friday at 7.30pm.

A spokesman for Greenwich Theatre said: “It is a scintillating actor-musician extravaganza fusing musical stagecraft and breathtaking imagery that relocates Ovid’s epic tales of fantastical transformation to the dark and world restructuring times of the Second World War.

Ovid’s Metamorphoses retells the spell-binding tales of gods, heroics and monsters with an original, exciting blend of gas masks, gramophones, puppetry and film.”

Pants on Fire’s production uses live, original music and is a splendid display of darkly comic, dynamic storytelling.

This will be Pants on Fire’s only London preview before the group go to Edinburgh to perform at the Fringe this August.
