Spontaneous Productions presents 10-minute plays by emerging playwrights
Following on from their sell-out short play nights last year, Spontaneous Productions is back with more extraordinary and surprising 10-minute plays by emerging playwrights from South London.
Expect comedy, drama, satire and a soupçon of violence. The plays will be performed ‘script-in-hand’ by professional actors and the audience will get to vote for their favourite play on the night, with the winning playwright receiving a bottle of bubbly.
This is the 12th Spontaneous Productions short play event. Director/producer Jonathan Kaufman said: “There is something magical about the short play evening – not least the diversity of the pieces and the fact that a small cast have to play so many diverse roles in such a short space of time.
“Playwrights love to see their work performed and with a partisan audience rooting for their favourite there’s often a highly charged atmosphere.

The show features the acting talents of Spontaneous regulars Annie Aldington, Deborah Garvey, Joe Grossi, William Hastings, Alex Head (who has also written one of the plays) and Hjalmar Nordén.
