What’s On: November Events at Peckham Levels, Peckham

Peckham Levels is warming up the winter season with a jam packed November programme. We continue the creative activities and celebrate Peckham Levels as the home to some of the best club nights, festivals, workshops, activities & film screenings!


Peckham Levels is turning 2 YEARS OLD this month and to commemorate the occasion, Peckham’s creative hub will be hosting an array of events.

The birthday festivities will include legendary Foundation FM doing a special birthday takeover on the 29th November and on 30th November, Focus Africa will be back bringing us authentic African music as part of their #focusAfrica Tour.

The infamous DJ Snuff will bring the best sounds of Afrobeats, Kudro, Azonto & much more – all free.

Peckham Levels

Pop Up Runaway and Change team up with Peckham Levels for the first time on the 30th November to host an expressive  pop up runaway for upcoming designers & fashion stylists. This aims to give individuals an opportunity to showcase their creativity & diversity through different mens wear, womens wear, accessories & children’s wear designs. Designers and creatives will be selling their own self made merchandise, whilst Choze will perform new tracks from her latest album release.

Tam Bam Steel Orchestra Academy are coming back with insightful workshops and live music on the 23rd November for The Great Steel Pan Festival, whilst on the 21st November TLC & Gal-Cal IRL host an evening of talks focused around the feeling of loneliness.

The month of November will be filled with free film screenings including Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless MindYou Were Never Really HereFight Club, as well as CasperGoosebumps, + more for the family.

Creative workshops throughout the month include screen printing, photography, sewing, zine creating + many more.

Rae Dee @ Near & Far (7:30 – close)
Rae Dee has quickly established herself as a regular on the Shoreditch clubbing scene, known for her versatile style that can adapt to any crowd. Playing genres from Hip Hop, Afro House, Future Bounce to Dancehall, Rae Dee’s open format style and love for music makes her selections and mixes fun and unique.

Kids Halloween Film Club: Casper & Goosebumps @ Auditorium (2 pm – 5:30 pm)
With free Halloween face painting for children.

Deeper into Movies: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind @ Auditorium (8 pm – 10 pm)

SoulD Print Launch @ Auditorium (7 pm – close)
Artist, Soul’D Launch Party – Celebrating Her Latest Works
An intimate evening, where you will be able to meet the artist, Soul’D and the Rainbow Warriors and hear what they are doing for the planet and how you can help.

Saturday 2nd November 
1 Day Paper Printing Workshop @ 3rd Rail Print (10am-4pm) £65
The perfect introduction to paper screen printing, a beginner workshop  ideal for anyone interested in learning the complete screen printing process or simply looking to print an edition with their own design for a special occasion. Each person will walk away with an edition of x10 A3 one colour prints.

Saturday 2nd November
Meet the Maker – Stemwell Workshop (Natural Dying) @ 3rd Rail Print (10am-4pm) £65
Discover the beauty of natural dyes using plants, leaves and botanical extracts. An introduction to the process to unearth the potential colour in plants that grow all around you. Using wool, peace silk and reclaimed cotton, you will learn to prepare fabric for dyeing. This course is suitable for anyone interested in creating beautiful textiles using natural materials. By the end of the day, you will have produced and will
take with you a swatch-book of colours on the various base fabrics.

Sunday 3rd November
Black Girls Sewing Club @ Workshop Space (11am-1:30pm) £12.45
A step by step tutorial on how to make a piece of clothing you can actually wear. All levels welcome.

Saturday 9th November
1 Day T-Shirt Printing Workshop  @ 3rd Rail Print (10am-4pm) £65
An introduction to t-shirt screen printing, q beginner workshop ideal for anyone interested in learning the complete screen printing process or simply looking to print some t-shirts with their own design for a special occasion. 

Saturday 9th November
Meet the Maker with Jonathan Lawes – Screen Printed Wall Mural @ 3rd Rail Print (10am-4pm) £65
Create an entire screen printed wall mural based around the architectural shapes in London. Participants will start off by creating their desired stencils using newsprint. Working collectively as a group the overall design will develop over the day and finish with a new bright and vibrant mural inside Peckham Levels.
