‘Whether you’re 21 or 71, we have Art For You’: Brixton’s free art fair
The Art For You fair is a dynamic selection of new and pre-owned art pieces from Brixton, and international emerging and outsider artists.
The fair will take place at the Willington Road Youth and Community Centre in Willington Road, Brixton on November 10.
Founder Jay Service, is a creative entrepreneur, art dealer and long standing resident of Brixton.
He has worked with artists from Brixton and beyond and uses the art fair as an opportunity to showcase and sell their works.
Mr Service said: “Whether you are buying for a client, your own collection or your home, all our pieces are reasonably priced, so, you are sure to leave with something.
“Art For You Fair is not your typical art fair, so do not expect to see the art displayed in the typical way.
“Join us for a Sunday afternoon of fun art appreciation and exploration. Remember, whether you are 21 or 71 years old, we have Art For You!”
The contemporary selection has a diverse selection of art, including abstract, contemporary and modern pieces as well African art and tribal masks.
Twenty five per cent of the proceeds from the event will support more London based emerging artists to create, exhibit and sell.
