Man from Clapham charged with murder of Justin Bello
A man has been charged with the murder of Justin Bello, whose body was found dumped in a bin in 2019.
Stasious Scott, 34, of Fishlock Court, Clapham, was arrested in Jamaica on January 24.
He was returned to the UK on March 23 and charged with murder and perverting the course of justice.
He appeared at the Central Criminal Court last Monday along with another man, Robert Shorter, 46, of Ranelagh Road, Wembley.
Robert Shorter was arrested in December 2019 and later charged with perverting the course of justice.
A provisional trial date for both men has been set for September 2023. Scott has been remanded in custody.
Mr Bello’s family are aware of these developments.
The body of 38-year-old, Mr Bello was found in a communal area in Lovett Way, Wembley, by police after they were called to the location at around 8.15am on November 25, 2019.
Three people have already been convicted and jailed on suspicion of perverting the course of justice in relation to Mr Bello’s death.
