Midfielder’s season looks over – as Charlton boss also provides injury updates on duo

Sam Field is not expected to play again for Charlton this season after fresh complications with his knee.
The 21-year-old has made nine appearances for the Addicks since joining on loan from West Brom but last featured on October 23 after suffering an injury at Bristol City.
Field did return to the bench at the start of February but then suffered another setback.
Asked if he believed that the player’s campaign was over, Charlton manager Lee Bowyer said: “Yeah, I do. Sam has gone back to West Brom – his knee is not looking good.
“That’s why we brought in a sixth loan, because we knew it was touch and go.”
Jonny Williams (ankle) is out of tomorrow’s home game against Luton with Darren Pratley (back) a major doubt.
“Prats is struggling – he’s touch and go,” said Bowyer. “Jonny is out for two weeks. His ankle is a lot better than we first thought.”
Wales international Williams, 26, has started 12 of the Addicks’ 33 Championship matches and been injured for 16 of them. A knee problem forced him to sit out 14 fixtures. He suffered an ankle injury in training last week when Macauley Bonne landed on him.
Pratley, 34, has missed the last two games with a back problem.
