Millwall striker Tom Bradshaw misses out to Fulham’s Mitrovic for Championship Player of the Month award
Tom Bradshaw missed out on the Championship Player of the Month award for October – with Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic landing the accolade.
The 27-year-old striker scored five times in the month – including an excellent first-time finish in the 2-1 victory over Leeds United at The Den.
Bradshaw missed most of last season after suffering cruciate knee ligament damage. But the summer 2018 signing from Barnsley opened his goal account for the South London club in their EFL Cup win at West Bromwich Albion in mid-August.
He has netted seven times in 16 outings this season – and scored in four successive Championship fixtures in October.
The judging panel for the Player of the Month also shortlisted Huddersfield Town midfielder Juninho Bacuna and Sheffield Wednesday’s Julian Borner.
Serb striker Mitrovic got six goals in five matches over that period for Fulham – not to mention another two for his country on international duty.
