Millwall winger and Palace youngsters called up to England U18 squad
Millwall winger Romain Esse and Crystal Palace youngsters Zach Marsh and David Ozoh have been called up to the England U18 squad.
England U18s face three matches this month in the International Tournament of Lisbon, taking on Norway, Australia and Portugal.
Esse, 18, made his debut for Gary Rowett’s first team in a 2-0 win at Watford in December. The Millwall academy graduate made 12 appearances for the first team over the course of the season and signed a long-term contract with the Lions in January.
Palace’s U18 Player of the Season Marsh scored 12 goals and picked up 12 assists in all competitions this season. It is his first inclusion in the England U18 squad.
U21 Player of the Season Ozoh made his professional debut for the Eagles in January under Patrick Vieira. This is his second inclusion in the England U18 squad – making his debut in March against Croatia.
