Arrest made following Victoria tube stabbing

An arrest has been made following a stabbing at Victoria Tube station last Friday.

A man in his 40s was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm. He remains in police custody.

Officers were called to Victoria underground station shortly before 5.30pm to reports of an altercation between two men.

Paramedics also attended and a man was taken to hospital with an injury consistent with being stabbed. He has since been discharged from hospital.
