Injured baby boy dies eight days after Penge collision
A baby boy involved in a collision in Penge eight days ago has died.
Luciano Newman, who was eight months old, suffered critical injuries as a result of a road traffic collision on Croydon Road, Penge, on January 14, and sadly passed away on Sunday, 20 January.
His mother Nicole Newman, aged 23, who was pushing Luciano’s pram at the time of the incident, died at the scene.
An investigation to establish the full circumstances of the incident is ongoing and the driver of the car is co-operating with police.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses and urge anyone with dash cam footage, including footage from the minutes leading up to the collision, to come forward.
