A bus driver has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a nine-year-old girl was killed last summer.
Martin Asolo-Agogua, 23, of Nunhead, was also charged with causing death by careless driving when under influence of drink or drugs and driving while over the drug limit.
Police were called to the scene where a bus had collided with two children in Watling Street, Bexleyheath, near the junction with Halcot Avenue on the morning of Saturday, August 3 last year.
Both children were taken to hospital and, despite the best efforts of medical staff, nine-year-old Ada Bicakci sadly died in the afternoon of Monday, August 5.
Asolo-Agogua, who was driving the bus, was arrested on the day of the incident on suspicion of causing serious injury through dangerous driving and drug-driving.
