Community care centre celebrates 20th anniversary with tea party

A care centre invited its community and councillors to a special tea party in celebration of its 20th anniversary last week.

On Friday, Bluebird Care Merton, based in Miles Road, Mitcham, hosted a special tea party event that brought together its clients, staff and the community for an afternoon of celebration and fundraising.

Bluebird Care Merton provides home care and support for elderly residents in the community. Services include personal care, live-in care, specialist care for conditions like dementia and Parkinson’s, respite care, and end-of-life care, for which they have received the Gold Standard in End of Life Care.

Director, Jay Patel, said: “The event was a huge success, with local dignitaries, The Deputy Mayor, Brenda Fraiser, and several councillors in attendance.”
