Concern for missing teen girl prompts wider search into South London
The Met have taken up an appeal for two missing youths following a general alert issued by Sussex Police.
That is because they believe the pair – Macey Taylor, 16, and Billy Ross, 20, have connections to Croydon.
Sussex Police posted an appeal on X, asking the pair to get in touch. It said: “Macey and Billy – if you see this, please report to a police station.
“Missing Macey Taylor, 16, and Billy Ross, 20, are travelling by train. They’re linked to Ilkeston, Leicester, Braintree, Sittingbourne, London and Redhill. Call Sussex Police on 999, quoting 560 of 11/07.”
DCI Alan Pack also issued a video saying: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Macey Taylor, a 16-year-old girl who’s been missing from Bognor for over a month.
“Macey is believed to be with Billy Ross, travelling on the rail network up and down the country. There’s video of them at Tattenham Corner railway station in Epsom on June 29.
“We’re asking if you see Macey or Billy, please contact us. And Macey and Billy, if you see this, please contact a police station so that we know you are safe.”
