“We had a fantastic wedding day – the library was the perfect venue for our ceremony,” said Chloe, who lived in Fulham when she first moved to London and regularly visited the building.
Cllr Wesley Harcourt, Hammersmith and Fulham council’s cabinet member for environment, who picked the winners in the draw, said he was delighted the couple’s big day had gone so smoothly.
“I’m thrilled that Chloe and Gordon had such a perfect wedding day in the magnificent setting of Fulham’s historic library,” he said. “I wish them both a long and happy marriage.”
The couple are now enjoying a honeymoon in the USA.
“Winning the draw really helped with our wedding planning and meant we could spend a little bit more on our honeymoon,” Chloe reported. “
We’re on a road trip down the east coast of the USA, and are loving every minute.”
