Crash leaves woman with head injury after driver fails to stop for police

A woman was treated by paramedics after a car failed to stop for police and crashed into the back of the vehicle she was in.

At around 1pm yesterday police officers attempted to stop a car on the A20 near Sidcup. 

The car did not stop and at around 1.05pm it collided with another car in Foots Cray High Street.

A woman, who was a passenger in the second car, suffered a head injury. 

She was treated by paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and her condition was assessed as not life-threatening. 

The driver of the car which failed to stop was arrested and taken into custody.
