Croydon shooting: Boy ,17, hospitalised with ‘potentially life changing’ injuries
A 17-year-old boy remains in hospital with potentially life-changing injuries after he was shot in the leg on Monday.
An investigation was launched after cops were called to reports of a shooting in Park Street, near the Whitgift shopping centre in Croydon, at around 7.30pm.
At the scene, police and paramedics found a 17-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
He was taken to hospital where his condition has been assessed as potentially life-changing. His next of kin have been informed, police said.
A spokeswoman for the Met said: “A crime scene is in place and enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests.
