Croydon women on pro-Palestinian march charged with racism
Two women have been charged with intending or likely to stir up racial hatred following an incident during a protest march in central London.
Hadjer Boumazouna, 27, and Fatiha Boumazouna, 53, both of Croydon, are both due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow. They were both charged via postal charge requisition in February.
The charges relate to an incident near Trafalgar Square during a march organised by the Palestinian Solidarity Campaign on Saturday, October 28, 2023.
The two women attended a police station and were arrested on October 29, 2023 after an appeal was issued on the Met’s X account.
