Early hours gunshot outside west Kensington nightclub

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following gunshots in west Kensington.

The incident happened at around 4am yesterday outside the Ricco Lounge nightclub in Russell Gardens.

Witnesses reported hearing gunshots after a verbal altercation involving a group of people. All those involved left the scene prior to police arriving.

Officers attended and, during a search, casings were found. A crime scene remains in place while investigative work continues.

There have been no reports of any injuries.

Police are appealing for anyone who was in the area and who may have seen events unfold, or anyone who has information that could assist police, to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD1158/13Oct.
