Early morning Old Kent Road stabbing puts teen in hospital

A teenager was stabbed outside an Old Kent Road McDonald’s in the early hours of Saturday morning.

Officers attended, along with the London Ambulance Service, at around 4.15am after being alerted to reports of a stabbing.

An 18-year-old man was taken to hospital, where his condition was assessed as non life-threatening.

No arrests have been made.

Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to call police on 101, giving the reference 1088/25FEB.

Information can also be provided to Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
