Exhibition celebrates works by refugees and asylum seekers
An exhibition celebrating the works of asylum seekers and refugees has been launched in west London.
My Life: Stories of Resilience and Hope, opened at Westminster Library in St Martins Street, on Friday.
The exhibition celebrates the stories of twelve artists from around the world that have come to the UK as refugees and asylum seekers.
The showcase includes an eclectic mix of artwork, ranging from paintings and drawings, to embroidery and craftwork, together representing a colourful tapestry of culture, identity and creativity.

The launch event welcomed charity partners, council representatives, stakeholders, and other community members.
The exhibition has been curated by Stay Belvedere Hotels Limited (SBHL) in association with partners Never Such Innocence and Immigrant Rise.
SBHL works with the Home Office to provide temporary accommodation for asylum seekers in the UK.
