Flagging up the World Cup

England flags have been put up on the Kirby Estate in Bermondsey where residents are showing their support for the England squad during the World Cup tournament in Russia.

The Three Lions got off to the perfect start on Monday, beating Tunisia 2-1 thanks to two goals from captain Harry Kane. England’s next game is on Sunday, against Panama. Victory over the central American nation will put them on the brink of qualifying for the knock-out stages.
