‘I am extremely proud’: 51-year-old property manager to appear on ITV’s Starstruck

A property manager has been selected to appear on an ITV talent show.

Audley Anderson, 51, of Burley Close, Norbury, will appear on ITV’s show Starstruck as a contestant on Saturday night.

Mr Anderson will perform in front of celebrity judges Adam Lambert, Beverley Knight, Jason Manford and Shania Twain, as well as host Olly Murs.

The show consists of talented contestants who compete for the chance to win £50,000.

Mr Anderson said: “I am thrilled to have been chosen to appear on Starstruck. It is an incredible opportunity to share my passion for singing with a wider audience and receive feedback from some of the industry’s top professionals.”

Mr Anderson has been honing his skills in singing for more than 25 years and will finally have the chance to perform on national television.

Mr Anderson is a soul singer and performs regularly across the UK and overseas at a wide range of hotels, events and venues.

He is also a songwriter, and some of his original songs detail the story of his life from the corporate world into his career as an artist.

He said: “I am extremely proud of giving something to a generation of people who may not be familiar with the songs I perform.

“I think it will be a great TV moment, especially considering the current climate of the world.”

Starstruck will air on ITV at 8.30pm on Saturday.
