Image released after man committed sex act on himself in front of woman on train

The British Transport Police (BTP) have released an image of a man they want to speak with following an alleged sexual offence on a train last month.

At around 9.20am on February 4, a man boarded a Southeastern train at London Bridge railway station, heading towards Grove Park railway station.

The man sat opposite a woman, the BTP said. When she looked up she saw that he was committing a sex act on himself while looking at her.

Officers want to speak to the man in the image who they believe may have information that could help their investigation.

A spokeswoman from the BTP said: “If you recognise this man or have any information about the incident, contact officers by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 145 of 4 February.

“Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
