Kids go free on the London Eye to mark World Book Day

Ahead of World Book Day tomorrow, the lastminute.com London Eye hosted the UK’s highest ever children’s reading party – 135m above the early morning London skyline.

Children dressed in outfits inspired by their favourite literary characters, including a dragon, a pirate and a witch, embraced their inner bookworm while taking in the stunning views over London.

In celebration of World Book Day, the lastminute.com London Eye has partnered with the literary charity and is offering children aged three to 15 who visit between tomorrow and Sunday, dressed in book-themed costumes, the chance to ride for free.

Children will also be gifted £1 book tokens to exchange for a free book to support World Book Day’s mission to encourage more children to read for pleasure.

To claim a free child ticket for “Eye Love World Book Day”, guests must book a World Book Day Promotion adult ticket in advance on the website before their visit between March 2 and 5.
