Support for isolated women in Lambeth

Women from deprived communities will address the issue of isolation at a special event for International Women’s Day.

New Vision For Women, the Community Resource Centre, Headlam Road, Kings Avenue, Clapham, is to help females working in isolation in Lambeth, focusing on low income single mums, addressing isolation in the community.

It will bring ordinary women from the community and different cultures together.

Participants will celebrate them for who they are, their contribution, small or big, to the area.

It will mark their important role as mother, sister, wife and teacher.

There will be inspirational talks and empowering words, some pampering sessions to relax, like face hand message, and an art exhibition by local women, on Friday, March 16, from 10am-1pm.
