London Eye turns purple for International Women’s Day

One of London’s most famous landmarks looks a little different today, thanks to its official partnership with International Women’s Day (IWD).

The IWD Light Up has illuminated the London Eye in purple to celebrate the annual day calling for women’s global equality.

The iconic attraction will join landmarks around the world as they light up in unison to call for gender equality as it stands for dignity and justice.
