Man, 32, arrested after fatal shooting of 16-year-old Lathaniel Burrell
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after the fatal shooting of 16-year-old Lathaniel Burrell on Tuesday.
The 32-year-old man was arrested in Croydon this morning. He remains in custody, police said.
Lathaniel, from Stockwell, died at the scene after being shot in Paradise Road, near Stockwell tube station at around 3.20pm.
Detective Chief Inspector Sarah Lee said: “Our detectives are working hard to piece together the events of Tuesday afternoon and identify those responsible for killing Lathaniel.
“We continue to appeal for anyone with information about Lathaniel’s murder to please come forward and speak to us.”
