Man charged and three others arrested in Woolwich shooting

A young man has been charged in connection with a shooting in Woolwich.

Joshua Fasoro, 20, of Camberwell, was charged on Wednesday December 2 with four counts of possession of an offensive weapon, possession of cannabis and aggravated vehicle taking.

This follows an incident on Woolwich Church Street, Woolwich, in the early hours of Monday November 30.

Three other people – aged just 20, 21 and 22  – were also arrested in connection with the shooting on suspicion of possession of a firearm with intent to endanger life, possession of ammunition, possession of an offensive weapon and aggravated vehicle taking.

One of the trio has been recalled to prison, while the other two suspects have been released pending further enquiries.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses and information.
