Man hospitalised after Rye Lane stabbing

A man was taken to hospital after being stabbed in the street on Thursday night.

Cops were called to reports of a stabbing in Rye Lane, Peckham, at around 10.30pm.

Officers arrived at the scene alongside London Ambulance Service crews who treated a man suffering from stab injuries.

The man was taken to a near-by hospital where his injuries have since been assessed as not life threatening or life changing, police said.

At this stage, there have been no arrests and police enquiries into the circumstances are on-going.
