Man needs hospital care after Catford house fire
One man was taken to hospital after half of a three-roomed flat was damaged in a ground floor fire.
Six fire engines and around 40 firefighters tackled the blaze at the semi-detached house on Stanstead Road in Catford.
London Ambulance Service helped the man, who left the building before the Brigade arrived.
Control Officers took the first of nine calls at around 5.40am on Sunday morning and mobilised crews from Forest Hill, Lewisham, Greenwich and surrounding fire stations to the scene.
The fire was under control an hour later.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
