Man stabbed in his chest and leg in brutal attack

A man was taken to hospital after he was found by police with stab wounds in his chest and leg.

Police were flagged down at around 10.15am on Tuesday by a man in Ilderton Road, Southwark.

Officers stopped and found the man, believed to be in his thirties, suffering from stab wounds.

They performed first aid and the London Ambulance Service took the victim to hospital for treatment, his condition is not life threatening.

There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
