Man taken to hospital after hit-and-run in Lewisham

A man was hospitalised after a hit-and-run in Lewisham last night.

Police were called at around 8pm to reports of a man injured following a collision with a car in Burnt Ash Hill, near Horn Park in Lewisham.

The London Ambulance Service attended and the man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital for treatment.

The man’s condition is not thought to be life-threatening.

Road closures were put in place while officers dealt with the scene.

The Met confirmed the car did not stop at the scene and enquiries are under way to trace it.
