Meat-free burger for free in Vauxhall

You can grab a burger Dirt cheap on Monday.

Well, for free, in fact.

Because Linda McCartney’s and Dirty Burger have joined forces to launch the Dirty Vegan in celebration
of World Meat Free Day on June 11.
The veggie day was launched in 2015 to raise awareness of the benefits of eating less meat; something that Linda McCartney’s has
championed for a number of years.
More Brits are now embracing vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian lifestyles than ever
before, so Dirty Burger has decided it’s time to cast a little meat free magic over its traditional
burgers.

Head chef Brian McGowan has developed a tower of tastiness for vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters alike to enjoy, with the help of Linda McCartney’s.
Sandwiched between a vegan brioche bun are two layers of popocini pepper relish,
lettuce, burnt aubergine and one of Linda McCartney’s infamous quarter pounder
burgers. Brian said: “Here at Dirty Burger, we’re really excited about the
opportunity to create a great tasting option for our vegetarian and vegan customers. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed developing the Dirty Vegan burger and cannot wait to see the reaction once it launches in store”.
The management recommend serving it with fries and Dirty Burger’s new vegan strawberry milkshake. It will be sold for one week from 11th June, for  £7.

And for one day only on World Meat Free Day, Dirty Burger will be giving the
burger away to the first 50 lucky people to walk through the door at the
Vauxhall site.
The Dirty Vegan burger is available from 11th – 17th June at Tooting, Balham, Wimbledon, Crouch End, St John’s Wood, Whitechapel, Shoreditch and Vauxhall.
