Murder police make sixth arrest in West Norwood shooting of Ramane Wiggans

Detectives investigating the fatal shooting of a 25-year-old in West Norwood in March have made a sixth arrest.

Ramane Wiggans was shot dead on Wednesday, March 27 on Friar Mews in West Norwood.

A 22-year-old male was arrested on Thursday, June 13 on suspicion of assisting an offender and taken to a police station for questioning.

Detectives are continuing to appeal for information and witnesses following the murder of Ramane who lived in Tulse Hill.

Two 27-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of murder on the day Ramane was killed and later released with no further action.

Two more men, aged 19 and 22, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and bailed to return at a later date.

A woman, aged 43, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, she has since been released under investigation.
