One dead and two hospitalised after triple Clapham stabbing

One man has died and two others are in hospital after a triple stabbing in the early hours of yesterday morning.

Police were called at around 4am to reports of a large group fighting with knives in Wandsworth Road, Clapham.

Officers, London Ambulance Service (LAS) crews and the London’s Air Ambulance attended the scene. 

Three people were found suffering from stab wound injuries.

Despite the efforts of the emergency services, a man in his 20s was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Officers are working to inform his next of kin.

LAS crews treated two other victims – both in their 20s – at the scene, one was taken to a major trauma centre and the other was taken to hospital.

A crime scene and road closures are in place. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
