Pensioner dies after collision in Colliers Wood

Detectives are appealing for information and witnesses after the man, aged 76 was involved in the collision at 5.40pm on Saturday, 24 November in Colliers Wood High Street, at its junction with Briscoe Road.

The man was taken by ambulance to a South London hospital where he remained in a critical condition. He died in hospital on Friday, 7 December.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is assisting police with their enquiries. He has not been arrested.

Officers from the Roads and Transport Policing Command continue to investigate and appeal for anyone with information to contact them.

Anyone with information is requested to call the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0208 543 5157 quoting CAD 5776/24 November.
