Police appeal for help after 4am wedding ring snatch at Oxford Circus Tube station
Detectives investigating a report of robbery at a Tube station have released images of men sought in connection with the alleged incident.
Shortly before 4am on Sunday, February 9, the victim was on a Central line train that was waiting at Oxford Circus Underground station when a group of four men grabbed and ripped a necklace from his neck as the doors were closing.
The gold wedding ring, which was attached to a gold chain, is of huge sentimental value to the victim. It has the name ‘Finola’ and the date ‘2.9.89’ engraved on the inside.

Officers believe the men in the CCTV images may have information that could help their investigation.
Anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV, or has any other information, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 446 of 10 February 2025.
