Police appeal for help to find transgender missing person
Police are appealing for assistance in tracing Melvin Clayton – also known as Mel or Melanie Clayton – who was last seen at Lewisham Hospital at around 0830hrs on Sunday, 7 October.
Officers are concerned that Ms Clayton, who lives in Hackney and identifies as female, may pose a threat to the public. She had attended the hospital voluntarily the previous day and was not detained there.
Ms Clayton, 35, is 6ft 3ins tall and when last seen was wearing a black headscarf, a black jacket and a dark blue skirt.
If seen, please do not approach, but call Lewisham Police on 101 quoting reference CAD 2306/oct07
