Police car shot at during chase of suspected stolen vehicle
Two gunshots are believed to have been fired from a suspected stolen vehicle towards a pursuing police car before the driver made off.
The incident happened on Tuesday, just after 3.30am at Copley Park on the junction with Streatham Common South.

Neither of the two officers giving chase were hurt and the police vehicle did not sustain any damage. A search for evidence of the shooting continues.
An investigation is being led by Specialist Crime (Trident). A crime scene is in place and CCTV and forensic examinations are ongoing.
Police are working to trace a Grey Kia Niro Estate car with the number plate EK19 PPX.
They are also keen to hear from anyone who lives or may have been driving in the area and may have captured doorbell or dash cam footage of the vehicle.
Chief Superintendent Colin Wingrove, head of policing for Southwark and Lambeth, said: “Such an incident is a prime example of the danger officers put themselves in every day in order to keep Londoners safe.
“We are incredibly relieved that they did not suffer any injuries and are now looking to ensure they receive appropriate welfare and support following this incident.
“I know the public will be shocked to hear of this incident. Our specialist detectives are following a number of leads. If you have information that can support them, I ask you to contact us immediately.”
