Police hunt man after woman in 40s is sexually assaulted

Police investigating a sexual assault have released an e-fit of a man they would like to speak to.

At around 1am on November 21 last year a woman, aged in her 40s, was walking along Heathfield Road, Croydon, when she was grabbed by a man who sexually assaulted her.

She ran away before calling police. Officers carried out a search of the area, however the suspect was not found. He is believed to have left in the direction of South End.

The man is believed to have been eastern European and is described as being approximately 5ft 6ins tall and aged in his 30s.

Police would like to speak to this man

He was wearing a black jacket and had cropped hair.

Anyone who recognises the man in the e-fit is asked to call police on 101 quoting CAD 559/21Nov21.
