Police investigating alleged rape of woman after aggravated burglary

Police are investigating the alleged rape of a woman in her 20s during an aggravated burglary last week.

The incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, June 15, at an address in Routh Road, Wandsworth.

A woman in her 20s continues to be supported by specially trained officers, the Met said.

Officers are asking anyone who may have seen a person acting suspiciously in the area of Wandsworth Common and Routh Road between 5am and 8am on June 15, to get in contact.

No arrests have been made and enquiries into the circumstances continue.

Anyone with information that could assist police is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD1856/15Jun.
