Police investigating Anti-Semitic verbal abuse claim on the Central Line tube, Marble Arch

Transport police want to speak to a man who allegedly intimated a passenger and his son on a Tube train with an anti-Semitic tirade.

The incident is said to have happened around 3.50pm on July 7.

The alleged abuser boarded a  Central Line train at Marble Arch, and, after staring at the 46-year-old victim, who was wearing a Jewish kippah, began to verbally abuse him.

Some of this alleged abuse was of anti-Semitic in nature and included threats of violence.

The victim, who was with his son, pulled the passenger alarm and the man left the train at Queensway.
