Police issue photo of man wanted over indecent act on bus from Plumstead to Abbey Wood

Police are appealing for help from the public to identify a man they would like to speak with in connection with an indecent act aboard a bus in south-east London.

At around 5pm on Tuesday, 2 March a woman aged in her 30s travelling on a Route 469 bus through Plumstead noticed a male staring at her while touching himself over his clothing.

The victim moved seats and the male got off the bus at Abbey Wood.

The woman was not touched or injured, but was frightened and shocked by the incident.

Anyone who knows the identity of the male is asked to call police on 101 or Tweet @MetCC quoting 5445/2MAR.

To remain 100% anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or visit Crimestoppers, where you will not even be asked for your name
