Police looking for man after woman sexually assaulted in park public toilet

Police have released an e-fit image of a man they would like to identify after a woman was sexually assaulted last month.

At around 8pm on September 11, a woman aged in her 20s was reportedly sexually assaulted inside a public toilet in Clapham Common.

After the assault, the suspect is said to have left the park, heading towards Cedars Road, Clapham.

A spokesman for the Met said: “The suspect is described as a man in his 20s, of slim build, with black hair, about 5ft10 and of Arabian appearance.

“At the time of the incident, he was wearing dark grey jeans, with a dark coloured T-shirt.

“Anyone who can help the investigation is asked to call 101, quoting CAD 2187/16Oct. Information can also be shared anonymously with the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
