Police seek help to resolve indecent exposure and assault cases

Police investigating reports of a man exposing and touching himself on a bus near Croydon are appealing for the public’s help to identify him.

The man was sitting on the upper deck of the SL7 bus from Heathrow to Croydon between around 8.15-9am on  Wednesday, July 31 when he committed the offence.

The man is said to have a long, grey beard, be around 50 years old and was wearing a white tTshirt with a blue turban.

The case has been linked to another incident on Tuesday, August 6 at approximately 7pm when it’s alleged the same man was walking along East Avenue in Southall assaulting women as he walked past them. He was thought to be wearing an orange turban at the time.

No injuries were reported in either incident.

If you have any information which could help, police are asking that you report it to them by calling 101 quoting 1063/01AUG24.

Alternatively, this can be reported to the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
