Police want help to identify victim of brutal attack

A man and a woman have been charged with the attempted murder of an unidentified man who is currently in a critical condition in hospital.

Police in Southwark were called to Warner Road, Camberwell at 5.41am on Saturday, 15 September following reports of an assault.

Officers attended and found a man suffering a head injury. Enquiries are ongoing to establish his identity.

Police are appealing for the public’s help in identifying the man who is described as white, aged in his early to mid-40s, approximately 5ft 9ins tall, of slim build with short dark hair. He has a mole on his right cheek near to his nostril.

He was wearing a black Superdry hooded top, a black T-shirt, dark blue jeans and black Nike Air trainers.

He spoke briefly in Spanish.
