Serial flasher on the loose in Merton

A flasher has struck twice in a recreation ground.

Police are appealing for information to trace the man who exposed himself on successive evenings at Garfield Road Recreation Ground in Merton.

Police were called to the area just before 7.30pm on Sunday, July 26 following a report of a man exposing himself several minutes earlier.

When officers arrived, park users said he had been seen in the park the previous day, although this was not reported at the time. The man was not found.

Officers would like to speak to anyone who has been a victim of this man’s actions, as they suspect he may have exposed himself on other occasions.

Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives at the South West Command Unit via 101 quoting reference Cad 6647/26Jul.
