Sex and kidnap charges levied after alleged assault on girl of nine

A man has been charged with kidnap and sexual assault of a nine-year-old girl in Kensington.

Robert Prussak, 56, of no fixed abode, was charged yesterday with a string of offences, which included kidnap, sex assault of a minor, and the administering of a substance with the intention of stupefying or overpowering his victim to enable sexual activity.

The charges relate to an incident involving a girl who was reported missing at Brompton Road, Knightsbridge, on Monday.

Prussak was remanded in custody and appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today. He was further remanded to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on May 22.
