Sexual predator who attacked six women in 12 days is jailed for life

A sexual predator who committed four sexual assaults within a terrifying three-hour period has been jailed for life.

Joshua Victorin, 25, of Albany Road, Walworth, was sentenced at Inner London Crown Court yesterday to a life sentence and will serve a minimum of eight years and eight months’ imprisonment.

Victorin committed the four sexual assaults on Monday, January 4 this year. He also attempted to rape two women just days earlier – on December 23 and 31, 2020.

His attacks took place at various locations across Southwark.

Victorin was arrested by officers from the Central South BCU on Tuesday, January 5 and pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted rape and four counts of sexual assault.

He was sentenced at Inner London Crown Court yesterday to a life sentence and will serve a minimum of eight years and eight months’ imprisonment.

Detective Sergeant Chloe Angris said: “Victorin is a prolific offender who assaulted six women over a 12-day period.

“It is possible that there might be other women who were assaulted by him, and I would urge them to contact us.

“The Met is committed to tackling violence against women and girls, and with Victorin’s imprisonment, Southwark is a safer place.”

    8 and a bit years? I don’t care that he pleaded guilty, he’ll be out in his mid 30’s. That’s a pitiful sentence which must be appealed as too lenient. The judge handing down this sentence shows utter contempt for the victims and society as a whole.
